Jul 12, 2021. #3. Garage checked the compressor. Speed temp and voltage etc and all is ok. Reckons it could be wiring or a valve. Waiting for a call back to see what they recommend for next steps. I had the front upper suspension arms done a few months back but they don't think that they would cause any issue. L. I would definitely reduce your use of access height to only when absolutely needed, just to try and prolong the life until it can be replaced. Any workshop should be able to replace the compressor, as it is 3 pipes, 2 electrical connectors, a relay and 6 bolts in total.

Car started fine but noticed it had all sorts of system faults afterwards. Special programs not available & cant select any. Transmission range change not available. Noticed the hi range and low range lights are flashing. Also the green mountain symbol on left guage is lit as is the orange system fault symbol under the temp guage.

I have a 2006 LR3 and have chased issues with the sir suspension using their software was able to isolate a ride height sensor, change it out and adjust without dealer intervention required. I have also along the way through troubleshooting tips discovered in this forum managed to isolate and swap out the front valve block and eventually the Its a long tube. Its purpose is to store compressed air at high pressure. It can take the compressor 2 -3 minutes to fill the reservoir. When the reservoir is full, and you select to raise the suspension, the system will use the stored air at a high flow rate to raise the car reasonably quickly. The compressor will cut in to start to refill the Cost of parts and all labor done by yourself: Time to change out the shock is about 15 mins to 2 hours if you have never done it before. You can find the shocks on ebay now dirt cheap ranging anywhere from $180 for a front and about $220 for rear. just search ebay and put this in the search and hit enter 282805033511.

However, there were these additional codes under new categories, different codes but all with a similar message: Each was under a different group including ABS, SRS, Ride level control

A couple minutes up to 15 minutes after starting car the suspension warning light comes on saying "normal height only" and stays on until the car is turned off. During this time only a normal suspension height can be selected the others do not work. 2008 Land Rover LR3 82,000 mi, Visitor. Normal ride height only. Depends on the age and mileage but could be an indication that the suspension compressor needs a look at. If you can get your fault codes read that may help - usually theres a code like "filling too slowly" which either means the suspension dryer beads are breaking up and blocking the air flow so the onboard computer shuts down the compressor and flags the amber alert. tdRh.
