2013 Ford Focus SE Radio Problems Questions. My Focus is having radio problems. There is very loud static crackling popping. The car can be on or off, the radio is on or off. Radio functions do not work, volume does not work. I have an appointment with the Ford dealership to do a diagnostic, next week.

Thanks as this sounds to be the 3.0 liter which helps here. O.k.,locate fuses 28 ( 5 amp) and 39 ( 20 amp) and remove these for about 5 minutes then reinstall.This should reset the unit for it to work again in most cases.These fuses are located in the smart junction block.If this does not work or if it does work but the issue then comes back then this indicates a fault in the unit itself on 2 answers. To set the hour, press and hold the CLK control and press SEEK. (Use arrows to increase or decrease hours). To set the minutes, press and hold the CLK control and press TUNE and use arrows.
