Fred450exc. My KTM 450 EXC 2008 also loses some oil though the breather hose, but no idea how much this is in total or if it does it while driving. When I park the bike after a ride it always drips about 5 drops of oil out of the breather hose. My mechanic says it's nothing to worry about. But it doesn't feel good.

On non-high pressure lubricated machines, the oil height shouldn't be effected because the oil isn't being sucked out of the sump at a high volume, just enough
31884posts · Joined 2006. #10 · Dec 30, 2015. I would not put Evans in an offroad bike. Use WaterWetter, just a couple of cap fulls in your normal coolant. Like has been said, change the radiator cap, make sure the surface that the black ring of the cap seals on is clean. Fit a fan if you must.
Mytake on the KTM being dual sport is mainly to allow you to ride. were non-plated bike are no longer allowed. I have two bikes, the LC4 which has a 2.25 liter oil capacity, and. yes the cush hub (lower compression ratio too) for "true dual sporting". I can run that bike at steady state freeway speeds (~66 - 70 mph)
