I have the Alpine in the Ram. Wifes durango has the Beats. IMO HK/Beats are better in the bass department. Alpine isn't that far off though. Sound quality though, maybe my ears aren't as intune as others but all 3 are fine. Was fine with not spending more for the HK system.

Basically, what Harman is proposing, is that car makers fit their cars with the Harman/Kardon high-end sound systems from the get go even though the price paid for the car’s speakers is the same
The Convenience Package ($1,500; moonroof, auto high beams, keyless entry, ambient lighting) is a little pricy but worth it. We’d also add wireless charging for $200 and a Harman Kardon stereo

Back in 2007, BMW marketed it at Logic7 and did not use the Harmon Kardon name. It was standed on the 335, but not on the 328. Regardless, it was NOT labeled on the front door tweeters (by the window) like it is on
Crazy to pay $75K for a luxury SUV that has inferior sound. I ordered mine assuming the HK was standard with the premium package (it was on the 2021 and the HK site specifically says its available on all BMW models). Shame on BMW for cutting corners and even worse for not being transparent and honest about it.
